Principal designer Natalie Konstant leads a team of four full-time staffers at Skokie-based interior design firm Natalie Konstant Interiors. The interiors group started 15 years ago as a department within her father’s venerable firm, Konstant Architecture & Planning. After joining the firm eight years ago, Natalie quickly recognized the need to create the division into its own entity so that it could function as a full-service interior firm. With that, Natalie Konstant Interiors was born, taking on projects from within and outside Konstant Architecture’s client roster and completing residential interiors throughout the country.
A student of proportion with a keen understanding of the importance of spatial planning, Natalie’s background in architecture has given her an edge in the interiors industry. It allows her to create smart, cohesive designs that relate to their surroundings. Never trendy or precious, she skews towards a clean, modern aesthetic that is both comfortable, resilient, and, ultimately, true to her client’s personalities and lifestyles.
